The second volume dealing with the industrial railways and locomotives of South Africa, covering the South African provinces of the Gauteng, Mpumalanga and Limpopo (which together comprise most of the former Transvaal) as well as the countries of Eswatini (Swaziland) and Lesotho. This volume also includes full indexes to both volumes. The book lists and describes all the known industrial locomotives and the companies that operated them. It also includes preserved locomotives. It has over 300 photographs (the majority in colour).
