This book is a facsimile reprint of  the Pocket Book K published by the Birmingham Locomotive Club (Industrial Locomotive Information Section) in 1963, and out of print for fifty years.  The book is reproduced at A5 size for greater clarity.  It contains 64pages and 8 black and white photographs. The pages are numbered from K1 to K60.   Because the reproduction of the eight photographs in the original book was not good we have replaced these with ones  at the same locations and mostly taken by Ken Cooper. This book covers the area known more commonly known as Cleveland and includes the major steelworks owned by Dorman Long & Co Ltd at Middlesbrough and the Skinnningrove Ironworks.
