Published in 2007 with 384 pages of text, including 19 pages of full colour maps.  This Handbook contains the whole of Glamorgan excluding the western part which has its own book.  The area contained hundreds of industrial railway sites centered on the extensive South Wales coalfield with associated steelworks and dockyards. The book includes locations in Merthyr, Dowlais, Mountain Ash and Aberdare, Pontypool, Cardiff, Barry and Aberthaw.  The book contains a comprehensive selection of 95 interesting black and white photographs.
